Laugh your way into the weekend with local comedian Jon Mckernan. Lite fare and limited bar will be available.
Jon McKernan has been doing stand-up comedy for over 40 years... he started a comedy club at Towson Univ. at age 19. He toured the Baltimore/DC comedy clubs for several years... moved to the Charleston area 20 years ago, and performs at comedy clubs in SC, residential apartment complexes, retirement communities, and different venues... He can do a wide variety of jokes, always getting input as to the likes of the audience and interacting with them.

Please join Millicent Brown, a renowned Social Justice and Public History Consultant, for an exclusive presentation of her new book, Another Sojourner Looking for Truth: My Journey from Civil Rights to Black Power and Beyond on July 9th at 4:00 pm in Blackmer Hall
Gain valuable insights into the reasons behind the book's creation and immerse yourself in the context of her experiences as a dedicated civil rights activist. Millicent will also shed light on crucial concepts regarding public education and dispel misconceptions surrounding the history of segregated and integrated schools in our local community

Join us for Generous Spirit Beach Bingo Benefiting Respite Care Charleston, Wednesday, July 3, at 4:00 PM in Blackmer Hall.
In addition to bingo-there is a special raffle and tickets are only $10! Saturday and Sunday at Edisto Beach for two nights, three days for 8 at a luxury beach house. Bingo and raffle sales begin Thursday, June 27, during Happy Hour in Polly's Pub. See flyer for more information.
